Four Aigles athletes at U SPORT national competition
The Université de Moncton is represented by four athletes at the U SPORTS University Track and Field Championships from Thursday to Saturday at the track located in Saint John, New Brunswick.
Aigles Bleues and Aigles Bleus coach Steve LeBlanc is looking forward to seeing his athletes compete against the best across Canada. The four qualified following the Atlantic University Sport Championships two weeks ago in Moncton. The athletes are Caroline Gagnon, Kyla Hughes, Samuel Bourque and Max Mazerolle.
Following is the schedule of competitions:
Thursday
Max Mazerolle in the heptathlon: 3:45p.m. - 60m; 4:30 p.m. – long jump; 6:15p.m. – shot put and 7:30p.m. – high jump.
Friday
12:30 p.m. – Samuel hammer (final)
1:30 p.m. - Max 60m hurdles (hept)
2:30 p.m. - Max pole vault (hept)
4:30 p.m. - Caroline 60m hurdles (qualifying)
4:45 p.m. - Max 60m hurdles (qualifying)
5:20 p.m. - Max 1000m (hept)
5:30 p.m. - Caroline 60m hurdles final (if she qualifies)
5:40 p.m. - Max 60m hurdles finals (if he qualifies)
7:00 p.m. - Kyla shot put (final)
Saturday
2:45 p.m. - Samuel shot put (final)
