Men’s Soccer: Aigles Bleus Add Two More Players
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus have recruited Youssef Jouhar and Mathis Nemadeu for the next Atlantic University Sport soccer season. Both players have signed the U SPORTS letter of intent to join the Younes Boudia team in September.
Youssef Jouhar, who measures 5′7″ and weighs 141 lb, is originally from Laval, Québec, with his family having lived in Palestine. A midfielder, he plays with the Saint-Laurent Soccer Club. He has been playing for 10 years, and will study in criminology. “I possess a good vision of play and very good technique,” indicated Jouhar. “I wanted to join the Aigles Bleus to gain valuable high calibre experience that is close to the professional level.”
Mathis Nemadeu measures 5′ 9″ and weighs 160 lbs. A striker or lateral defensive player, he hails from London, Ontario. His family is originally from Cameroun. He wears the London Whitecaps jersey this summer and has been playing for 10 years. He is enrolled in the business administration program. “The project that Younes described to my family and myself is exciting,” he said. “The soccer team is headed in the right direction, and I believe Université de Moncton is an excellent place for me to pursue my soccer career and for my studies. I am a very skilful player that goes all out to win. My speed and being able to pursue my adversaries to get possession of the ball are my strengths.”
