Moncton Travels to Fredericton on Wednesday
“UNB is a different team in their rink,” said Moncton coach Judes Vallée. “They put a lot of pressure on the opposing team right off the first whistle. We need to be ready to get through those first 10 minutes. We have a challenge, but we know we can win. We need to create a surprise and a momentum that will give us confidence for the playoffs.”
“It is not easy to play in their rink,” said forward Édouard Michaud. “We need to come out strong and play better than we did on Monday. We are capable of winning, but we need to have a great first period and send the puck to the net as we are having difficulty doing that lately. We want to bring more offensive to the team and play well defensively. It is important to send the puck to the net. I am happy with my play in my rookie season. The calibre is high, but I have adapted well. It is quite a notch between junior and university calibre.” Michaud plays on a line with Vincent Deslauriers and Alexis Roy.
