Aigles Bleues to Host Sea-Hawks for Three Games
Both teams will play on Friday evening at 7 p.m., on Saturday at 4 p.m., and on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium on the Moncton campus.
According to rookie middle player, Joanie Arsenault, the team is hoping to win all three games. “We have won against them and we know we can do it again this weekend,” Arsenault said. “They have a young team like ours. To win, we have to work hard. We play better as a team now that we are more skilled playing together. Everything begins with a good reception and then working hard to organize the attack. We expect to do well.”
“We played well against them and we wish to continue on that victory,” coach Monette Boudreau-Carroll said. “We played a few good exhibition games on the weekend. We always play well at home, and three wins is our objective. The players have more confidence in their skills, and we play better each game. We react differently in certain situations with experience and we lose fewer points than we did in the first semester. We are able to recover more balls. I will not make drastic changes, I will let them adapt and live the experience.”
The Aigles Bleues have 11 games left in the regular schedule in the second semester. The four top teams advance to the AUS championship.
