Aigles Bleus travel to Antigonish on Saturday
This will be the fourth game between the two teams this season, the X-Men having a 2-1 edge after three. The games have been won by one goal. The Aigles Bleus have scored 54 goals and allowed the same number after 15 games while the X-Men are 39 and 46. Both teams have lost their last three outings.
“We will begin the game on a much stronger tone,” said defencemen Danick Crète. “It was not easy in our last game. We are vying for third spot and we only have three games left before the holidays. We must prove ourselves. The forwards are helping out in our zone because of the injuries to two defencemen.”
“The score in the other games was close and we have two teams that are similar in style and play,” added coach Judes Vallée. “We have to reset following our last outing. A good and patience defensive play will help launch our offensive punch. Our specialty units must also produce. The team needs to start strong and learn how to play with a lead.”
Defencemen Marc Gallie will be the fifthdefencemen, two still being on the injury list.
