Hockey Aigles Bleus to face Varsity Reds, Friday
Moncton (1-6-2=4 points, 7th position) knows the task will not be easy as they face the AUS second-place team, with seven wins, no loss and one tie game, for 15 points.
“We will begin the game the same way we ended the one on Wednesday evening,” Moncton coach Judes Vallée said. “We need to play the same way we did, and we cannot afford to offer them too many man advantage. Efficiency in our own zone and a tight game between the two blue lines are essential. They have a speedy team, but we have played well against them.”
“We did work hard and we are building something solid,” said forward Mitchell Robillard. “We need more wins. We will continue in our ways and everybody needs to buy in. Our line is working hard and we keep the plays simple. Marois, Deslauriers and myself are three fast players and we can create scoring chances. It is important for us to win this match.” The trio collected four goals and three assists last Wednesday.
The game can be followed on AUStv.ca.
