Weight and Cardio

One of the most important responsibilities of the staff at our training facilities is to make sure that you exercise care and caution in using all equipment. The improper use of training equipment in these areas could cause you serious injury and make it impossible for you to continue with your program for some time. For this reason, please become familiar with the regulations below and do your best to follow them each time you use our training facilities.

Regulations for the Cardiovascular Training Room

  • Use of the cardio equipment is limited to 30 minutes per person. When a piece of equipment is in use, you may add your name to the list attached to the device to reserve it for yourself next, but ONLY if you are ready to begin using it as soon as it becomes free. If not, the spot goes to the next person on the list.
  • For your safety, we require that you wear appropriate clothing.
  • Sport bags are not permitted inside the cardio room.
  • As a courtesy to other users, please always wipe off equipment when you have finished using it.
  • Only water and sport drinks may be brought into the cardio room.
  • Radios and cassette/CD players with speakers are not permitted. You may bring a personal music player with headphones if you like.

 

Regulations for the Weight Training Room

To prevent injuries, we ask that everyone exercise care and caution and pay close attention while using the weight training equipment.

  • Always return weights to their designated racks after use.
  • Wear appropriate clothing (no footwear without heels or proper support).
  • Radios and cassette players with speakers are not permitted. You may bring a personal music player with headphones.
  • Sport bags are not permitted inside the weight training room.
  • As a courtesy to other users, please always wipe off equipment when you have finished using it.
  • Due to space limitations, we are unable to hold your personal belongings in the weight room office area.
  • Use of the weight training room is restricted to individuals aged 15 and up.
  • The use of chalk or powder is not permitted in the weight room.
  • Please follow the specific instructions for each piece of equipment.
  • Only water and sport drinks may be brought into the weight training room.
