The GISGUF met in Moncton
In August 2016, the Université de Moncton hosted the Groupement international des secrétaires généraux des universités
francophones (GISGUF). Over 60 secretaries general met in Moncton. They came from Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso,
Cameroon, Canada, Congo, Côte d’Ivoire, France, Lebanon, Morocco, Senegal, Switzerland and Togo. The GISGUF held
its 20
th
International Symposium on “Risk Management in Higher Education Institutions.”
Partnership between the Université de
Moncton and the Université d’Antananarivo
The Université de Moncton and the Université
d’Antananarivo, in Madagascar, formalized two
collaboration agreements at the Sommet de la
Francophonie held in Antananarivo. The first
agreement is on sharing and exchanges in the
areas of research, teaching and documentation.
The second is a specific agreement between the
Faculties of Law at both universities. This agreement
provides for an exchange between two Canadian
and Malagasy students.
