Where You Will Stay

Where You Will Stay

Université de Moncton within a vibrant city!

Greater Moncton is a vibrant city full of fun activities for everyone.

The Greater Moncton area is one of the fastest growing areas in Canada with a population of 140,000, one-third of whom are Francophones. It is located in New Brunswick in the eastern part of Canada. You will find long stretches of sandy beaches with the warmest waters north of Virginia within 20 minutes of downtown Moncton. There are also many unique attractions nearby such as le Pays de la Sagouine, le Village Historique Acadien in Caraquet, the Rocks at Hopewell Cape and the Bay of Fundy, one of the Marine Wonders of the World, to name just a few.

The university has a large sports complex on its Moncton campus. You can enjoy activities such as swimming, badminton, tennis, racquetball, squash, volleyball, basketball or the indoor track and weights and exercise room.

All students will stay in modern university residences on campus within close walking distance to their classrooms and cafeteria.

Take a virtual tour of our housing facilities by visiting: https://www.umoncton.ca/umcm-logement/summer.
