Explore Program 2023 - Dates and Cost

Would you like to improve your French skills in summer time? 

The Continuing Education offers a French summer 5-week program : Explore. Everyone is welcome to participate in this French summer program. There are no language-skill requirements, and all language levels are welcome.

The Explore program will take place from July 3, 2023 to August 4, 2023.

Are you eligible?

To be eligible for  Explore, you must meet both of the following criteria:

  1. Be either a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident (those studying in Canada on a student visa are not eligible); and

  2. Be aged 16 years or older;

  3. have been a part-time or full-time student for at least one term during the current school year; or have been an Odyssey participant within the last two years. 

If you meet the above criteria, you may be eligible for a place funded by the Government of Canada.

The bursary will cover the following fees: Tuition fees, materials, a weekly food allowance, accommodations in a single occupation dorm room equipped with a kitchenette, activities, workshops, some trips to cultural and tourist attractions*.  

The bursary will NOT cover :

  • the non-refundable registration fee of $275, and,
  • the refundable deposit fee of $100 (refunded at the end of the program upon return of your room keys and materials if there is no damage).
  • Travel to and from your place of residence to the Université de Moncton campus,
  • extra optional activities,
  • laundry fees,
  • pocket money,
  • parking on campus,
  • medication and,
  • other personal expenses. 

*There are additional costs for some optional activities (Prince-Edward-Island, Hopewell Rocks, Lobster Tales and others).

You are not eligible to get a bursary? We have what you need! 

Our immersion French program is open for everyone:

  • Canadian citizens,
  • Permanent residents,
  • International participants. 

There are no language-skill requirements, and all language levels are welcome.

The costs of participating in the program are as follows:

  • 2575$ : this fee covers 5-week immersion program (courses in the morning, workshop, activites, some trips to cultural and tourist attractions*).

The program fee does NOT cover food and lodging. Food and lodging off campus are the participant's responsability.

  • Add 275$ for registration fee (non-refundable).
  • Add 100$ for deposit fee (refundable in the end of the program as materials are returned and if there is no damage).

*There are additional costs for some optional activities (Prince-Edward-Island, Hopewell Rocks, Lobster Tales and others).
