Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation Scholarships

Admissibilité

The Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation Scholarships are offered to students from the Atlantic provinces who will have graduated from high school in June prior to their first year of enrolment at the Université de Moncton. This scholarship cannot be combined with the Roméo LeBlanc Excellence Scholarship, the Academic Merit Entrance Scholarship, the Student Leadership Entrance Scholarship or a Academic Merit Scholarship.

3 scholarships of $10,000, renewable for the normal duration of the program of studies. 

Sélection

Selection is based on leadership qualities and community involvement. The student must have maintained an 80% or higher average in Grades 10 and 11.

The application form is available online in early October, annually. Letters of reference must be sent by mail by the signatories.

The top candidates will be invited for virtual interviews in late January or early February (dates to be confirmed). Final results will be known no earlier than mid-February.

Avis aux étudiantes et étudiants en mobilité

Students attending one of the Université de Moncton campuses as part of a student mobility program are not eligible for the Université de Moncton's scholarships and financial assistance program.

Lieu de validité

The Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation Scholarships are awarded for full-time studies at one of Université de Moncton’s three campuses. The student must be registered full time.

Versements

The Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation Scholarships are awarded in two equal instalments during the academic year. The amount of the scholarship will first be paid against the fees due to the Université.

Renouvellement

Renewable for the normal length of the academic program. Recipients will be expected to achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher and continue to demonstrate leadership and community involvement throughout their academic career.

Annulation

The Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation Scholarship is terminated if the recipient does not remain registered for 12 credits per term or decides to leave the Université.

The Université de Moncton reserves the right to publish the names and photo of recipients of the Arthur L. Irving Family Foundation Scholarship.
