Harrison McCain Scholarships (campus de Moncton)

Admissibilité

The Harrison McCain Scholarships, worth a total of $16,000, are offered annually to new students entering an undergraduate program at the Université de Moncton and who have graduated from a high school in Canada. For the 2024-2025 , three Harrison McCain Scholarships are available, one at each campus, regardless of area of study.

Sélection

Candidates must have an 80% average after the first semester of their senior year of high school, demonstrate financial need, have leadership qualities, and show a sustained effort to finance their education.

Présentation du dossier

Have applied for admission to one of the Université de Moncton's three campuses. The completed application form, along with all required documents (including your transcript of marks for the first semester of Grade 12), must be sent to the Scholarships and Financial Assistance Office of the campus concerned. Since the Harrison McCain Scholarship selection committee is English-speaking, all documents submitted must be in English.

Avis aux étudiantes et étudiants en mobilité

Students attending one of the Université de Moncton campuses as part of a student mobility program are not eligible for the Université de Moncton's scholarships and financial assistance program.

Lieu de validité

The Harrison McCain Scholarships are awarded for studies at one of Université de Moncton’s three campuses. The student must be registered full time.

Versements

The Harrison McCain Scholarship is awarded in two equal instalments during the academic year. The amount of the Harrison McCain Scholarship will first be paid against the fees due to the Université.

Renouvellement

Renewal of the scholarship is granted only if the recipient remains enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits per term at the Université. To qualify for renewal, the recipient must have obtained the following minimum grade point average • after the 1st year of study: 1.00; • after the 2nd year of study: 2.00; • after the 3rd year of study: 2.30.

Annulation

The Harrison McCain Scholarship is terminated if the recipient decides to leave the Université.

The Université de Moncton reserves the right to publish the names and photo of recipients of the Université de Moncton Harrison McCain Scholarship.
