1. Are there any particular conditions related to enrollment in this program?

No particular conditions apply.

 

2. What is the registration fee and what does it include?

The registration fee is $2,500. This fee is exempt of taxes. The registration fee includes learning materials, coffee breaks, lunches and parking permits.

 

3. Is a discount available on my registration fee?

Yes, we offer early registration discounts, which are yet to be determined.

 

4. Is there funding available to help pay for this program?

You might qualify for funding through the Labour Force Training Program offered by the Department of Post-secondary Education, Training and Labour NB. An employer-driven intervention to invest in the skills development and employment needs of the workforce. For more information about the eligibility criteria or, to obtain an application form, visit the Labour Force Training program webpage here.

 

5. When must the fee be paid?       

The registration fee must be paid in full at least 15 days prior to the start of the program.

 

6. Can I pay by instalments?

This is not the current policy. However, some special arrangements are possible. This may be requested by contacting the Continuing Education Office at (506) 858-4121.

 

7. Are university credits attached to this program?

University credits are possible for Université de Moncton students. We invite you to contact us for more information at perfectionnementprofessionnel@umoncton.ca or at (506) 858-4121.

Continuing Education Units (CEU) are also granted. Completion of the program entitles participants to six (6) CEUs (60 hours of training). A certificate of achievement indicating the number of units earned will be issued to participants who have attended all program workshops.

 

8. Are assignments required, or exams to be taken as a part of this program?

No, there are no exams to be taken as part of this program. However, participants will be required to keep a learning journal and hand in a summary of their learning at the end of the program.

 

9. Is attendance to all workshops required to receive a certificate?

Yes, all components of the program are compulsory. Workshops that were missed may be taken during the following year, providing the program is offered. Please note that in this event, a fee of $150 per workshop will have to be paid.

 

10. Is attendance compulsory for workshops I have taken in the past?

It is recommended to complete all workshops as they are included in the cost of the program and no rebates will be given.

 

11. Can I register for a selection of workshops in the program?

 No, you must follow the entire program.

 

12. Can I be replaced by someone else for a workshop?

Attendance by a substitute is not allowed.

 

13. What happens if I miss a workshop?

Any absence from a Modern-Day Management Training Program workshop must be reported through email to the campus where the participant is registered.

In the event that the participant is absent from one or more workshops, he or she can make it up with another group, regardless of the campus, under some conditions. Should the participant need to take the workshop the following year, a fees of $150 will apply. A two-year delay is allowed for the completion of the Modern-Day Management training program.

 

14. Is there a minimum enrollment required for this program to be offered?

Yes, at least 15 participants must be registered for the program to be offered.

 

15. Is there a maximum number of participants in this program?

Yes, registration is limited to 25 participants per group.

 

16. What is your cancellation policy?

Any request to withdraw from the program must be submitted by email to the Continuing Education office of the appropriate campus:

  • If notice of withdrawal is received, before the 14-day period preceding the beginning of the program, your registration fee will be refunded minus $250. 
  • If notice of withdrawal is received, between 8 and 14 days before the beginning of the program, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded.
  • If notice is received, 7 days or less before the beginning of the program, no refund will be granted.

If you are unable to attend the program, you may send a replacement, providing that a notice is given in writing at least three business days before the first training day.

 

17. Can the program be cancelled?

Yes, the Continuing Education reserves the right to cancel the program if the minimum number of participants has not been reached. In that case, registration fees will be refunded in full.

 

18. Can this training program be delivered for employees in our organization?
