Major $1 Million Contribution from L’alUMni to the Université de Moncton’s Evolution Fundraising Campaign

In response to the importance of increasing feelings of belonging and pride among future
graduates, L’alUMni alumni association has made improving the student experience its
strategic priority for the past six years.
By making a concrete contribution to the quality of the student experience with this major
$1 million gift, L’alUMni has taken responsibility for developing a memorable and
stimulating student life that will be a key component in students’ university careers.
Since implementing this new direction, L’alUMni has focused more clearly on developing a
sustained relationship to accompany students during both their university journey and
their professional career. The association also acts as a catalyst and creates
opportunities, including events such as the Rendez-vous de L’alUMni, the university's
annual homecoming, and the Repères program, for graduates, students and the university
community to meet and to network.
