Four Université de Moncton Research Proposals Receive CNFS National Research Grants

The Université de Moncton is proud to share that four research proposals from five professors have been selected as part of the call for proposals for the 2023-2025 National Research Grant from the Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS).

Professors Stéphanie Collin, Claire Johnson, Stéphanie Maillet, Elda Savoie and Lise Savoie are the instigators of these research proposals.

The proposals are as follows:

Retention of healthcare personnel in rural areas: the roles of psychological well-being and attachment to francophone minority communities

  • Stéphanie Collin et Claire Johnson (Université de Moncton)

The progressive impact of the shock of professional reality on the stress lived, psychological health and intention to leave of the French-speaking nursing students: a mixed-method longitudinal study

  • Stéphanie Maillet (Université de Moncton)

Family caregivers aged 75 and over and social workers: partners in home care in rural francophone regions of New Brunswick

  • Elda Savoie (Université de Moncton)

Giving a voice to francophone women in New Brunswick to understand the links between experiences of sexual violence, the social determinants of health and access to French-language services

  • Lise Savoie (Université de Moncton)

The Consortium national de formation en santé (CNFS) includes sixteen colleges and universities as well as four regional partners from French communities in minority context. Together with the National Secretariat of the CNFS, their actions aim to improve access to social and health services for official language minority communities, in particular by increasing access to health training programs.
