Invitation: 12th Edition of the International Summer Course on the Rights of the Child

A global forum for anyone interested in children's rights

The Office of the Child and Youth Advocate of New Brunswick and the Université de Moncton's Continuing Education Department present the twelfth annual International Summer Course on the Rights of the Child. This event will take place from June 25 to 30, 2023. During these 5 days, several speakers will address a variety of themes to provide participants with an in-depth understanding of the rights of the child as stated in the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The conferences and debates will be led by international speakers with diverse backgrounds, including internationally recognized experts in children's rights.

A Course Open to the World

Mandated by the New Brunswick Office of the Children's Rights Advocate, the Université de Moncton's Continuing Education Department has entirely adapted the course to give participants the choice of attending either on-site at the Moncton campus or in virtual mode to take into account new technological changes and to adapt to new uses. The course is delivered in both English and French through a simultaneous translation system. This translation system is a major asset to open the course to an international clientele to enrich the discussions.
