3 UMoncton athletes at U SPORTS Championships
Three athletes from the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues and Aigles Bleus are at the University of Saskatchewan this week for the U SPORTS track and field championships.
The competitions begin today (Thursday) for Max Mazerolle of Cocagne who participates in the heptathlon. He will complete his 7 events on Friday.
Caroline Gagnon of Moncton will compete in the 60m hurdles on Friday and Samuel Bourque of Notre-Dame-de-Kent in the shot put on Saturday.
Coach Steve LeBlanc is looking forward to seeing his protégés in action following their performances at the Atlantic University Sport Championship two weeks ago. They won these events at this competition.
