A turnaround is possible, but the players will have to contribute greatly when the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (0 and 2) host the University of New Brunswick Reds (2 and 0) on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the third game of the best of 5 Atlantic University Sport men's hockey semifinal series.

The Reds lead the series 2-0 and they can secure their spot in the final with a win on Tuesday. The first two games gave offered a fairly dominant score for the Reds and Derek Cormier's team knows the strong opposition can take advantage of any moment of rest.

“The series is far from over,” said coach Derek Cormier. “We will have to play well with confidence at home in front of our fans. We need to keep the game simple, and anything can happen.”

Cormier will be able to count on the possible return of two players, Thomas Cusson and Jérémie Jacob absent due to injuries. He plans to change some approaches with a similar game system.

“We want to focus on what we do well and for 60 minutes,” he added. “We can't have a moment of a drop in intensity, we play one trio and one period at a time. The players themselves must make a difference on the ice for the benefit of the team.”

The game is scheduled at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena at 7 p.m. on the Moncton campus. Tickets can be obtained online, at the CEPS reception desk during the day or at the arena ticket office beginning one hour before game time.
