Volleyball: 2 games between the Tigers and the Aigles Bleues on Friday and Saturday at CEPS
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (5-12=10pts,5th position) host the Dalhousie University Tigers (13-3=26pts, 1st place) for two Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball games on Friday and Saturday at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud gymnasium.
Friday's game is at 7 p.m. and Saturday's game is at 2 p.m. The Aigles have won their last three games and the Tigers suffered a rare loss in their last outing. Moncton is eliminated from the playoffs and Dalhousie is battling with the Acadia University Axewomen for the top spot in the final standings.
“It's been a while since the Aigles Bleues won against the Tigers and we want to correct that with a weekend win,” said coach Joline Richard. “All the players are excited, ready and looking forward to these games. We want to finish the season on fire.”
The Aigles have three games left in the regular season, including the two this weekend.
