The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues return to action this weekend with two road games in Atlantic University Sport women's volleyball action in Nova Scotia.

Joline Richard's troupe (2-7=4pts, 5th position) will be at Saint Mary's University (5-3=10pts, 3rd position) on Friday to face the local Huskies at 7 p.m. On Sunday, the Acadia University Axewomen (7-2=14pts, 2nd position) will host the Aigles Bleues at 2 p.m. in Wolfville.

Moncton won its last two games before the holiday break at the league tournament at Memorial University, including a 3-2 win over the Axewomen.

“It's different to travel twice in a weekend, but our goal is to pick up where we left off before the holidays,” said coach Joline Richard. “Our team spirit has improved with our two wins, and we continue to work together as a team. That's what differentiates us, all our players can play. Our success at the end of the semester was made possible because of our serves and defensive play. We're going to build on that and make our offensive game more effective.”

All players are healthy and available to play this weekend. Sara Chiasson of the Blue and Gold is the 11th best AUS player with an average of 2.4 points per set with 67 kills and 76 digs.
