The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (10-6-0-0=20pts, 3rd position) will cross the Confederation Bridge on Wednesday to play the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers (11-4-0-1=23pts, 2nd position) at 7 p.m. in Charlottetown.

Derek Cormier's squad has two games to play on the road this week before the holiday break.  He says his team is looking forward to adding two victories and the six points to the standings. The team is doing well this season and aims to maintain this pace.

The Aigles Bleus have scored 58 goals and allowed 48 in 16 games so far this season compared to 63 and 43 for the Panthers. These two teams shared the honours in the first two games, with Moncton winning 4-2 and the Panthers 2-1 earlier this month.

The game promises with two of the top scorers in the AUS, Kyle Maksimovich with 10 goals and 11 assists for 21 points for the Panthers and Mika Cyr of the Blue and Gold, 8 goals and 12 assists for 20 points. They are 3rd and 4th respectively. Three other Panthers players followed, Troy Lajeunesse (12 and 8), Matt Brassard (3 and 16) and Tj Shea (7 and 12). Nathaël Roy of the Aigles also has 19 points (11 and 8) and Jacob Dion has 16 (3 and 13).

Moncton will finish its first half of the season Friday in Fredericton against the UNB Reds.
