Erica Plourde and Charles-Edouard Drouin are the UMoncton Athletes of the Week
Erica Plourde from Pigeon Hill, New Brunswick and Charles-Edouard Drouin, from Saint-Georges-de-Beauce, Quebec, are the IRM Moncton MRI athletes of the week from November 21 to 27, 2022 as chosen by the Athletic Department of the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton.
Aigles Bleues hockey forward Erica Plourde found the back of the net once and added 4 assists for 5 points in her team's two wins to end the first semester. She finished +6 with 8 shots on goal. Plourde was used in several situations during the games, and she did not disappoint with her performances. She is a second-year education (mathematics) student.
Charles-Edouard Drouin was named the Subway player of the game Friday with his two goals, +2 and three shots in his team’s win. He added two shots on Saturday's game. His work on the ice was exemplary in both games. He is a first-year education (physical education) student.
