A fourth consecutive win is in the vision of the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (5-10-0-0=10pts, 6th position) as the team hosts the Mount Allison University Mounties (1-13-0-0=2pts, 8th position) in the last game of the first semester in Atlantic University Sport women's hockey at 7 p.m. Friday at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena.

The Blue and Gold won their third straight game on Wednesday. The team intends to end this first half of the season in style with another win to better benefit from the holiday break.

“We should still play on our terms and in our own way,” said head coach Marc-André Côté. “We want to end the half season on a good note with a fourth in a row. It would benefit us.”

The Aigles Bleues struggled to score goals at the right time at the start of the season. However, the situation improved lately. The team defeated the Mounties 6-1 on November 16 in the first duel between these two clubs. This will be the 16th of 28 games of the regular schedule. The games will resume on January 6.

Erica Plourde is 5th in the league's leading scorers with 17 points on 6 goals and 11 assists in 15 games. Alexia Desforges and Shani Rossignol are 10th, each with 6 goals and the same number of assists for 12 points. Among goaltenders, Annick Boudreau is 3rd in the standings with a .930 save percentage in 9 games. She posted 2 shutouts. Emily Lalancette leads the team defenseman with 1 goal and 6 assists for 7 points. Catherine Longchamp is 1 and 5 for 6 points.
