The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus will play two road games this weekend in Nova Scotia in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey.

The Blue and Gold (9-5-0-0=18pts, 3rd position) will be in Halifax on Friday to face the Saint Mary's University Huskies (8-6-0-0=16pts, 4th position). On Saturday, the team will be in Wolfville for a duel with the Acadia University Axemen (3-9-1-1=8pts, 6th position).

Both of these teams are ranked lower than Derek Cormier's troupe.

“We're going to work hard and try to get the two wins. It will take a lot of discipline and hard work to get the 4 points. I like the caliber of university hockey. It's the best caliber I've played. The pace is fast and it’s very physical. It's a great experience. With this group of guys, we can go far. I'm faster and stronger than at the beginning of the year and my reaction time is going well. I'm happy with my progress so far.”, said Thomas Cusson, rookie defenseman.

“These are two other important games,” added coach Derek Cormier. “It’s another good challenge. We finish this first half season with four games on the road, starting this Friday. Our start to the season is going well, but we need to continue our efforts to be successful and have good results. The standings can change quickly and we want to stay ahead of these two teams.”

Veteran defenseman Olivier Desjardins will miss the games due to an injury.
