The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues are looking to get back on track Wednesday as they travel to Sackville to face the Mount Allison University Mounties in an Atlantic University Sport women's hockey game. The face off will take place at 7 p.m. at the Tantramar Veterans Memorial Civic Centre.

Marc-André Côté's team has lost its last three games and is looking to climb in the standings, with only two wins to its credit against 10 losses for 4 points and 7th place. The Mounties are 1 and 11 for 2 points, in 8th place, having won their last meeting. Moncton has scored 21 goals and allowed 28 in 12 games compared to 16 and 46 for the Mounties.

“We aim for our special teams to perform better,” said Blue and Gold coach Marc-André Côté. “Our players work hard and our level of competitiveness must increase. Our structures are good, and we must build on our energy.”

Moncton defeated Mount Allison 2-1 on Nov. 2. Erica Plourde is the team's leading scorer with 9 points (4 and 5), followed by Shani Rossignol with 8 points (4 and 4).
