Shani Rossignol and Jonathan Kissé are UMoncton's Athletes of the Week

Shani Rossignol from Notre Dame de Lourdes and Jonathan Kissé from Toronto are the Athletes of the Week IRM Moncton MRI from October 17 to 23, 2022 as chosen by the by the Athletic Department of the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton.

In her second season as a forward with the Aigles Bleues, Shani Rossignol had two impressive performances on the road for her team last weekend. In two games, she got a goal and an assist with three shots on goal. She was particularly dominant in the face-off circle with a 64% efficiency rate. Shani Rossignol is a third-year undergraduate student in social Sciences with a major in criminology.

In his first season with the Aigles Bleus in soccer, forward Jonathan Kisse had two goals and an assist in the two victories of the weekend for the Aigles Bleus. His goal against Mount Allison University is certainly one of the nicest goals of the season in the AUS. He also showed leadership on the field by working defensively and in transition. With these great performances, the Aigles Bleus have secured a place in the Atlantic Men's Soccer Championship which will take place from November 2 to 5 in Cape Breton, a first participation for Moncton since 2018. Jonathan Kisse is a third-year student with bachelor's degree in Information-Communication.
