Hockey: two Aigles Bleus Home Games
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus hope to get back on the winning track in two important weekend home games in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey action.
Derek Cormier's troupe (2-2-0=4pts, 4th position) host’s the Dalhousie University Tigers (1-3-0=2pts, 7th position) on Friday at 7 p.m. Saturday, the St. Francis Xavier University X-Men (2-1-0=4pts, 2nd position) will form the opposition, both games being played at the J.-Louis-Lévesque arena.
“We are hopeful we can win these two important games this weekend,” said coach Derek Cormier. “We played the X-Men in the preseason game, and we haven't seen the Tigers yet. Every weekend brings its challenges and this one will be no different. We're going to start focusing on the Tigers. We want to bounce back from our last weekend losses.”
All players are available for the weekend games. Saturday's match is featured in the Alumni weekend program. Several former players will be present.
