Cross-country: Aigles participate in first competition

The women's and men's cross country teams from the Moncton campus of the Université de Moncton will participate in a first university calibre race on Saturday in Nova Scotia.
Athletes will be in Antigonish for the St. Francis Xavier University Atlantic University Sport race with starts at noon (men) and 1 p.m. (women). The distance of the two races will be 8 km.
The Aigles Bleues in competition will be Myriam Cormier, Amélie Cormier, Elisabeth Vigneau, Hannah Levysshon, Annie Clarke, Sophie Black, Mylène Durette and Gabrielle Côté. The Aigles Bleus at the starting line will be Alain Lavoie, Olivier Jacob Godin, Julien Thibodeau, Maxime Savoie, Yannick Dupuis and Damien Canal.
Coach Steve LeBlanc is looking forward to seeing his athletes in action so he can assess the potential for future competitions.
