The best of 3 quarterfinal series pitting the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus against the Dalhousie University Tigers will crown a winning team Tuesday in Halifax in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey action.

Both teams have scored a home win and both games gave offered quick and physical play that should be the hallmark of this final game.

“It will be a kind of trench warfare like the other two,” stated Aigles head coach Judes Vallée. “The two teams have similarities, which ensures an exciting end to the series. Our team must maintain its state of mind from Sunday's game. We will be less the two injured players on Sunday, Mika Cyr, and Alexandre Bernier, but the others are ready. The team concept is important in the playoffs.”

“We need to build on our Sunday win and do our job,” added center Maxime Boudreau. “It's a fast and robust like series, but we must keep calm. It will be easy to motivate ourselves; it's a do-or-die game. If we want to continue, we need to win on Tuesday and play one shift at a time and one period at a time. Motivation will lead us.”

Dalhousie won the first duel 4-3 and Moncton blanked their opponents 3-0 on Sunday at home. The winning team will advance to the semi-final series. The Saint Mary's University Huskies eliminated the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers in the other quarterfinal series.

The game can be viewed at the AUStv.ca beginning at 7p.m.
