Volleyball: The Aigles Bleues Host Sea-Hawks for Three Games
Women's volleyball fans will have the chance to attend three games of the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues as they host the Memorial University Sea-Hawks at the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud on the Moncton campus this weekend.
The three Atlantic University Sport games look promising between these two teams that have similar records of one win and eight losses so far this season.
“Three games in three days are a lot, but we're up for the challenge,” said head coach Joline Richard. “We are excited to be able to get back into the game and into the heat of the moment. We are very happy to have the chance to play at home.”
Moncton defeated Memorial 3-1, on Nov. 21 at the league tournament in Halifax, the only clash between the two teams so far this year. The Blue and Gold has only played one home game this season.
Friday and Saturday games are scheduled for 7 p.m. and Sunday for 12 p.m.
Spectators are admitted to the games. They must present proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 and a government-issued identification card to access the CEPS. They are required to always wear a face mask when in the building, except for active drinking or eating.
