Hannah Levyssohn and Younesse Chibane are UdeM athletes of the week
Hannah Levyssohn, of Moncton, New Brunswick and Younesse Chibane, of Montreal, Quebec, are the athletes of the week from September 27 to October 3 as chosen by the Université de Moncton athletic department, Moncton campus.
The first-year athlete ran an interesting and strategic race Saturday in Wolfville taking 28th place and was 10th in the women's rookie category. Her second race of the season, the Aigles Bleues Hannah Levyssohn improved by 10 positions compared to her first competition. She is a bachelor of arts, multi-student.
Younesse Chibane scored three times in the Aigles Bleues 4-0 win in men's soccer on Friday evening. He worked well defensively with a lot of energy and used his technical abilities to make the difference in the defensive zone. He took 5 kicks on goal and played the 90 minutes of the game relentlessly. A rookie, he is a first-year student in the bachelor's degree in social sciences criminology.
