The Aigles Bleus to wrap up its pre-season schedule Friday and Saturday in men's hockey
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (2-2) will play their last two preseason games on Friday and Saturday in Atlantic University Sport men's hockey.
The return game between the Blue and Gold and the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers will be held Friday night at 7 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena following last Tuesday's match in the island province. Moncton did win 4-3 in overtime. Rookie Nathaël Roy scored a goal and added two assists. The Aigles Bleus travel to Fredericton on Saturday to face the University of New Brunswick Reds. The Reds did post a 3-0 win in the first duel between the two.
"We will take advantage of these two meetings to continue our process of learning and executing our game plans," said head coach Judes Vallée. “We need to improve our execution on the ice and prepare for the regular season. »
On Wednesday, October 6, the Aigles Bleus begin the 2021-2022 season by visiting the Reds in Fredericton. The first home game is scheduled for Saturday, October 9, when the Panthers will be the visitors at the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena at 7 p.m.
Note that spectators are admitted to the home game Friday. However, proof of double vaccination is required before entering the rink and the wearing of a face mask is always mandatory inside the building, except for drinking liquid or eating food.
