A recruit will be joining the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues for the 2021-2022 Atlantic University Sport women’s volleyball season. Jasmine Allain has signed her U SPORTS letter of intent to play for the Bleu et Or.

Jasmine Allain, who hails from Richibucto, is currently playing with the Fuzion high performance volleyball club. She plans to study Kinesiology next year on the Moncton campus.

Monette Boudreau-Carroll, coach of the Aigles Bleues, is delighted to welcome the recruit to her team. “Jasmine demonstrates the athletic abilities she needs to be successful on the team, but it is her dedication, her determination and the work ethic she applies to both her studies and her sport that will allow her to excel.”

“I’m very excited to be able to be part of the Aigles Bleues family at the Université de Moncton,” said Jasmine Allain. “I will work hard to represent my team, but I also want to show my French and Acadian pride. I discovered my passion for volleyball when I was six. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to be part of the winning team in several provincial championships and to be chosen to participate in VNB’s program from 2017 to 2019. I’ve been on the Fuzion high performance team since last year, and that has given me an opportunity to develop my skills as a libero. I’ve always been dedicated and a hard worker, so I am sure that my progress in the sport won’t go unnoticed. I also really appreciate my family, which has supported me along the way from the very beginning. All that being said, I feel honoured and proud to have an opportunity to join the Aigles Bleues family.”
