Highlights of the December 5 Board of Governors’ meeting
Appointment of a new Ombud at the Université de Moncton
Lise Frigault has been appointed Ombud of the Université de Moncton by the Board of Governors. Reporting directly to the Board of Governors, she will take up her duties on Monday, January 11. Ms. Frigault has worked as a lawyer and mediator for the past 10 years, first at Field LL.P (Edmonton) and then at Frigault Law (Edmonton and Moncton).
Three renewals approved by the Board of Governors
The terms of Jean-François Thibault, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Sébastien Deschênes, Dean of the Faculty of Administration, and Matthieu LeBlanc, Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, have been renewed for a five-year period. They will serve until June 30, 2026.
