Women’s Hockey: Aigles Bleues Host Panthers Sunday
The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (0-1) host the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers (1-0) this Sunday at 2 p.m. at the J.-Louis-Lévesque arena for the second game of the best of 3 Subway Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey playoffs.
The Panthers won the first encounter in Charlottetown on Thursday evening and can clinch the series on Sunday with a win.
“We will put all our strengths together and regroup in order to win this game in front of our fans,” Moncton coach Marc-André Côté indicated. “We held a good team meeting to discuss our Thursday performance, and it will be a different game on Sunday. We have a second chance and we will take advantage of it.”
