Women’s Hockey: Aigles Bleues visit Panthers Wednesday
In Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey, the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (5-17-1=11 points, 7th position) will play the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers (17-5-1=35 points, 3rd position) on Wednesday in Charlottetown.
With four games left to play, Moncton and Dalhousie (14 points) are still in the race for the sixth and final playoff berth.
“We still have the opportunity to qualify for the playoffs, but I will need all players to offer a super effort,” Moncton coach Marc-André Côté admitted. “It is very important for the standings and it is a great opportunity for us. We will skate fast and take advantage of all opportunities. This is the last of six road games in a row in January, and we will be able to take advantage of three home games in February. This is a great motivation for the players.”
All players are available for this last regular-season road game.
