Pascale Lebeau and Francis Thibeault are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week
Hockey players Pascale Lebeau, of Louiseville, and Francis Thibeault, of Val d’Amour, were chosen as athletes of the week for the period from November 25 to December 1, 2019, by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.
Forward Pascale Lebeau scored two goals and took four shots on goal in her team’s 4-3 loss to the Dalhousie University Tigers, on Saturday. A rookie, she was the top offensive player in both weekend games for the Bleu et Or. She is a sciences (biochemistry and molecular biology) student.
Defenceman Francis Thibeault is also a rookie player who leaves his mark in university hockey this season. He has adapted well to the higher calibre of play and gained his coaches’ confidence by playing regularly. He collected an assist in both of his team’s weekend games. He is a business administration (general) student.
