Pascale Doiron and Vincent Lanoue are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week

Volleyball player Pascale Doiron, of Dieppe, and hockey player Vincent Lanoue, of Repentigny, were chosen as athletes of the week for the period from October 28 to November 3, 2019, by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Pascale Doiron played well in the two games against Acadia University Axewomen during the weekend. She had a total of 17 kills and 24 digs for the two games. She was involved in 89 attacks and was key to her team’s come back in several sets. She is a social work student.

Defencemen Vincent Lanoue played two solid games last week in men’s Atlantic University Sport hockey. He was posted against the top lines of the opposing teams and was able to get the puck out of his zone. He took two shots on goal and blocked several pucks before reaching the goaltender. He is an administration (finances) student.
