Volleyball Aigles Bleues host Acadia Axewomen Friday and Saturday

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (0-2=0 points) host the Acadia University Axewomen (0-2=0 points) for two games on Friday and Saturday in Atlantic University Sport women’s volleyball action.

The Monette Boudreau-Carroll coached team and the Axewomen will face off on Friday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 4 p.m. at the gymnasium of the CEPS Louis-J.-Robichaud, on the Moncton campus.

“We are two young and rebuilding teams,” said Monette Boudreau-Carroll. “We need to work harder and continue building for the future. We were nervous in our first game, and we are gradually finding our rhythm. The rookies are adapting and are up for the challenge. We are learning, but we are not happy with our results. We wish to bring our play one level. We learn new things every week, and the players seem more comfortable on the court. Playing in front of our fans will help.”

The public is invited to both games.
