Hockey Aigles Bleues Host Huskies and Tigers

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleues (2-4-0=4 points, 7^th position) have two home games this weekend in Atlantic University Sport women’s hockey action.

The J.-Louis-Lévesque will be the site of the matchups. The first one, on Friday, is against the Saint Mary’s University Huskies (5-1-0=10 points, 2^nd position), and the second, on Saturday, is against the Dalhousie University Tigers (2-4-0=4 points, 6^th position). Both games take place at 7 p.m.

“These are two very important games for us,” Moncton coach Marc-André Côté said. “We have a rivalry with the Huskies with games that are intense and physical. We worked hard this weekend to get ready for the two games in our nest. The emphasis was placed on scoring goals, our difficulty. We want to place more traffic in front of the opposing net and finish our plays with more goals. Defensively, I am happy with our progress in our zone.”

Audrey Berthiaume will be between the pipes on Friday. Several former members of the Aigles Bleues will be in attendance this weekend for homecoming activities.
