Catherine Dupuis and Pascal Doucette are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week

Soccer players Catherine Dupuis, of Saint-Mathias-sur-Richelieu, and Pascal Doucette, of Berwick, were chosen as athletes of the week for the period from October 14 to 20, 2019 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

On Saturday, forward Catherine Dupuis remained on the field for 90 minutes and made two shots on goal. Sunday, she scored two goals in her team’s 3-2 loss. She made four shots on goal, made a pass and remained on the field for 68 minutes. She was solid throughout both games and created many scoring chances. She is a student in leisure lanagement, sport and tourism.

The Aigles Bleus won and lost in two weekend games. The play of defencemen Pascal Doucette was singled out in both games. He did win a number of one-on-one battles on the field and played the full 90 minutes in both games. He was named Subway player of the game on Saturday. He added a shot on goal on Sunday. He is a student in sciences (biology).
