Panthers Visit Aigles Bleus Wednesday

The Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (1-1) play a third exhibition game in Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey as they host the University of Prince Edward Island Panthers Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena.

This is the first game the fans will get to see first-hand the 2019-2020 edition of the team for the coming season.

“We are continuing our evaluation of the players to be ready for the upcoming season,” head coach Judes Vallée indicated. “The team played well in the first two games, but we have to work on a number of situations and plays. Our rookies are integrating well in our roster and our system of plays.”

The Aigles Bleus did shutout the Panthers 4-0 in a first encounter last Friday in Charlottetown. Moncton plays its fourth and final exhibition game on Friday in Wolfville against the Acadia University Axemen.
