Partnership Between the Université de Moncton and the Imperial Manufacturing Group

On January 14, 2019, the Université de Moncton and the Imperial Manufacturing Group confirmed a partnership agreement for industrial robotics projects.

Canadian industry is facing the fourth industrial revolution and global competition, creating enormous challenges that demand increased productivity, improved product quality and lower costs.

The Université de Moncton will use a dedicated industrial robotics research lab to meet the expectations of the Imperial Manufacturing Group on several projects, including the use of robots and technological tools. These projects are designed to create innovative manufacturing processes and to increase productivity.

The research team in the Faculty of Engineering is made up of professors Yassine Bouslimani and Mohsen Ghribi, research engineer Tobie Boutot and post-graduate students.

Imperial Manufacturing Group is recognized the world over for its residential and semi-commercial heating, air conditioning, ventilation and construction products.
