Chantal Beauchamp and Danick Crète are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week

Chantal Beauchamp, defenceman of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Danick Crète, defenceman of Rigaud, Québec, were chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period from January 14 to 20, 2019 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Beauchamp was credited with three assists on Friday evening in the Aigles Bleues 5-3 win in women’s hockey. She took three shots on goal in her team’s two games. Her exemplary defensive and offensive play motivated her teammates to go all out during the games. She is a nursing student.

Crète of the Aigles Bleus was a solid player in all three games played by his team during the week. He scored a goal, added three assists, took seven shots on goal and was +3 in two games. The Aigles Bleus won two of three games and qualified for the Atlantic University Sport playoffs. He is a business (marketing) student.
