Marc-Antoine Chiasson Elected Vice-Chair of Board of Governors

Marc-Antoine Chiasson has been elected Vice-Chair of the Board of Governors of the Université de Moncton. His three-year term begins immediately.

A lawyer by trade, Marc-Antoine is currently a partner in the law firm McInnes Cooper in Moncton. He has 20 years’ experience in administrative, employment, health care, commercial and corporate litigation and law. He is also a member of numerous professional associations in the legal sector.

Highly involved in his community, Marc-Antoine has been president of L’alUMni de l’Université de Moncton since 2016, a member of the Université de Moncton Board of Governors since 2017 and a coach and judge for the moot court program of the Faculty of Law since 2001.

Marc-Antoine holds a bachelor of laws degree from the Université de Moncton, a bachelor of social sciences degree (with a major in political science) from the University of Ottawa and an Essential Management Skills Certificate from McGill Executive Institute.
