Aigles Bleus to host Huskies Saturday

The public will get a first chance at seeing the 2018-2019 edition of the Université de Moncton Aigles Bleus (3-0) on Saturday in an Atlantic University Sport men’s hockey game.

The J.-Louis-Lévesque Arena will be the site of the game at 7 p.m. as the Saint Mary’s University Huskies will be the visitors in the fourth and final exhibition games.

“We have been doing well and our objective of performing has been met,” said Moncton coach Judes Vallée. “We have three wins and we wish to continue on that road. We always have things to improve, but we are competitive. Saint Mary’s has four strong lines, and they can pressure our play in our defensive zone. Communications will be important on the ice. We wish to limit our opponents to fewer than 27 shots on goal. We have a better defensive squad than last season, and we should win more games with good back skating from our forwards.”

Etienne Montpetit will be the goaltender.
