Carol-Ann MacDonald and Nathan Goulet are Université de Moncton Athletes of the Week

Carol-Ann MacDonald, cross-country runner from Irishtown, and Nathan Goulet, soccer player from Montreal, were chosen as Physiotherapy Sportmed athletes of the week for the period of Sept. 10 to 16, 2018 by the Université de Moncton Athletic Department.

Carol-Ann MacDonald won a bronze medal for her third-place finish in the women 5 km cross-country race held in Charlottetown on Saturday. She registered a time of 19:21, one second behind the winner. She is a sciences-nutrition student.

Middle player Nathan Goulet was a very effective player for the Aigles Bleus in both weekend games. He took two shots on goal on Sunday. He is a multidisciplinary bachelor student.
