Cross-Country Teams in Charlottetown

Members of the Université de Moncton women’s and men’s cross-country teams will travel on Saturday for their first meet of the Atlantic University Sport 2018-2019 season, to be hosted by the University of Prince Edward Island.

The Jean-Marc Doiron coached teams will take in four races this season before the AUS competition in Halifax on October 27.

“The first race of the season is our chance to evaluate the strength of the other teams, and to assess our own development program,” stated coach Jean-Marc Doiron. “We have a lot of energy in our group and all our excited by this first race. It will be special for Carol-Ann MacDonald and Myriam Cyr, who have family in PEI.”

The women’s team will comprise Carol-Ann MacDonald, Myriam Cyr, Myriam Cormier, Sophie Black, December Sampson, Émilie Guthrie, Émilie Jennings, Pascale Richard and Laurence Guitard. The men’s team is composed of Nassim Bousmaha, Alexandre Leclair, Christian Haché, Jean-Raphael Vinay, Jeremy Rolle and Simon Delorme.
