The largest scholarship fund of the Université de Moncton, the Fonds de bourses Clément-Cormier, made it possible to offer students nearly $95,000 in scholarships and bursaries this year.

Established in 1963, the Fonds de bourses Clément-Cormier honours the memory of the founding president of the Université de Moncton. Founded in 1977 by the Association des anciens, anciennes et amis de l’Université de Moncton, campus de Moncton (AAAUM), the alumni association of the Université de Moncton – today known as L’alUMni – this scholarship fund in 1981 received a major donation of $100,000 from Fr. Cormier, proof of his dedication to the student population.

More than four decades after its establishment, it remains the largest scholarship fund of the Université de Moncton. Like Fr. Clément Cormier, the alumni and friends of the University seek to provide financial support to the next generation of students in the form of scholarships and bursaries.

Congratulations to all recipients!
