The City of Dieppe’s generous donation of $500,000 to the Université de Moncton will be used to enhance the Fonds de bourses de la Ville de Dieppe scholarship, the creation of the Ville de Dieppe Aigles Bleues – Aigles Bleus scholarship and a new national Acadian archive centre.

“The Université de Moncton is a major player in the economic, cultural and social development of our region,” said Yvon Lapierre, Mayor of the City of Dieppe. “More than 300 residents of Dieppe are employees of the Université de Moncton, and it is the alma mater of thousands of people living in our city. We believe in the development of the university, and it has an enormous impact on Dieppe. That is why the City of Dieppe supported both of the university’s previous campaigns by donating $800,000.”

This type of philanthropic commitment contributes significantly to enriching the student experience.
